How can I wash my jacket?
Ember&Earth Jackets can be washed on the Hand Wash setting in cold water with a mild, non-toxic detergent. Please wash inside out and separately. Because they are 100% Waterproof they do not stain easily and a wipe with a damp cloth should suffice to clean any dirty areas.

What is the return policy?

We have a 90 day return policy at Ember&Earth. If the jacket is in the same condition as when you receive it, send us an email and send us the jacket back. We will reimburse you in full for the jacket, or send you a replacement. Please include a note with the return, specifying your order number, if you want a return or replacement, and which colour/size you would like.

Note on Sale items:

Returns are accepted on sale items under the guidelines above. Exchanges can be made with items of equal value, or additional payment can be sent to upgrade to a non-sale item.

Why are the sleeves long?

The reason the arms are longer are because traditionally, this style of raincoat intentionally has longer sleeves in order to cover the hands during heavy rain. Without this, when it rains, your hands would get wet. When we wear them around in dry weather, we normally roll back the cuff one or two times, and when it rains, we roll them right back out!

What if the lining feels damp?
For any waterproof jacket the difference between the temperature outside and the temperature in the jacket due to body heat causes condensation. If the jacket has been in the rain it should be stored hanging so that the water can drip off it. If the jacket is cold, the lining may feel damp, but rest assured, it is not wet, and once it has warmed up again it should be fine.

What duty will I be charged by customs?

Importation taxes or duties vary between countries, and unfortunately we are unable to provide estimates. To avoid any unexpected charges we advise that you contact your local customs office for a breakdown of potential taxes and/or duties before you order.
